About Me

How It All Started

I’m Tony Mendoza, and I’ve been playing World of Warcraft since 2005. I didn’t start this site because I’m a pro or some top-ranked streamer. I started it because I love the game, and over time, I realized that I enjoy writing about it almost as much as I enjoy playing it. From early raids in Molten Core to grinding Mythic+ keys in Dragonflight, I’ve put thousands of hours into this game—and I don’t regret a second.

What I Do Here

I run this site alone. That means every guide, every post, every tip you read here came from me. I write about dungeons, raids, classes, gearing strategies, PvP, and anything else I’ve found helpful through my own time in the game. I test things myself. I dig through logs. I join pugs, run guild groups, and yes—wipe many, many times—just to make sure what I’m sharing actually works.

I don’t sell advice, I don’t chase clicks, and I never recommend something unless I’ve tried it.

Why I Built This Site

There are a lot of WoW sites out there, but I found myself wanting something simpler. Something written in plain English. No ads blasting in your face, no pop-ups, no overcomplicated builds. Just clean advice, tested info, and honest thoughts about how to enjoy the game.

This site isn’t about being the best—it’s about making your time in Azeroth smoother, more fun, and less frustrating. Whether you’re new to the game or you’ve been raiding since Classic, I want you to find something useful here.

My Experience with the Game

I’ve played every class, every role, and every expansion. I’ve healed in high-pressure raids, tanked Mythic bosses, and top-fragged in rated battlegrounds. I’ve managed guilds, led raid groups, and taken breaks when life got in the way. WoW has changed a lot, and so have I, but the excitement of figuring things out has always kept me coming back.

I still log in several times a week. I still run content with my old guildmates and try out builds people are talking about in forums. I don’t think that will change any time soon.

What I Care About Most

The people. This game’s been through ups and downs, but what makes it special is the community. Strangers become teammates. Teammates become friends. Even after all these years, I still get excited about helping someone through a tough dungeon or watching a new player finally get their first big drop.

That’s the energy I want this site to have.

Outside of WoW

When I’m not playing or writing, I live a pretty normal life. I work from home, drink too much coffee, and take my dog out on long walks through Hackney Marshes. I also enjoy cooking, watching old films, and reading up on game design theory—even if I don’t always agree with it.

I live in East London and have a small, quiet setup at home where I do all the writing and testing for the site. It’s not glamorous, but it gets the job done.

Let’s Connect

If you like what I write and want to chat, feel free to reach out. I enjoy hearing from people who care about the game and have thoughts of their own. Whether you have a question about a class, a guide suggestion, or just want to say thanks—that’s always welcome.

You can contact me directly at [email protected].

Thanks for being here.
